Berry and flower picking farms near Sydney
Have you gone fruit picking on a farm before? The weather has been so amazing lately and with Covid restrictions easing for Sydney, I've been dreaming about a mini road trip. I randomly got it into my imagination how wildly romantic it would be to go strawberry picking since it's strawberry season at the moment (and give me occasion to wear my spring picnic outfits!). It would also be a great way to catch up with friends with young children who might enjoy a fun day running about on a farm. While I was doing my research online, the information seemed to be all over the place so I decided to jot down the highly recommended farms and collate all the information here in the one spot to share with you all. My search was specifically targeted at strawberry picking, but many farms have a variety of fruits and vegetables that you could pick throughout the year. I also came across a lovely sunflower farm that claims to be the most instagrammable spot, so of course a must visit. I've listed place that are easily driveable from Sydney and also within the current Covid travel restrictions for Greater Sydney though restrictions will likely be easing again soon.
If you have been berry/fruit picking in NSW or your state, please share your experience down in comments below and would love to hear your travel suggestions. I'll be posting about our berry picking road trip afterwards so be sure to come back to read all about it!
