Brunch in the city: Industry Beans (York St, Sydney)
I recently caught up with a dear friend for weekend brunch in the city. We live on opposite sides of the city so usually try to meet in the middle so that neither of us have to travel too far. We don't work in the city either, so I had to do a quick google search for weekend brunch recommendations in the CBD. My mission was to find great coffee as well substantial food, not just pastries and cakes. Secondly, we were coming by train so ideally close to either Town Hall or Wynyard Stations. And thirdly, it had to be open on a weekend! (Many cafes in the CBD seem to be closed on weekends, unless it's in a famous tourist landmark like QVB or Westfield Shopping Centre it seems). Industry Beans - Bubble Coffee (AUD $7.00) - Super delicious icy cold milk coffee with small tapioca pearls and a regular flat white ($5.50) The cafe has a Scandi industrial minimalist vibe.
