Huge Sale @Matches_Fashion
UPDATE 6th JAN 2023: Sale-on-sale season has officially started!!! This is the period after the major holiday sales like Boxing Day with additional discounts off items already on sale.
Today, I noticed these amazing steals from Matches Fashion with lots of Jimmy Choo shoes at over 50% off. S Max Mara coats are also included in this sale as well - I have two camel coats from S Max Mara and always feel a million bucks wearing it. Even though it is summer time in Australia now, autumn will be along shortly and these coats have been a great investment for me.
The best deal I could see today is this pair of Jimmy Choo Love flats in patent beige. Have tried on these in glitter before and although the Love flats have pointier toes than the Romy flats, I found them similarly comfortable and true to size.

There is also a pair of Bing 100 in the classic patent black though limited sizes available (34 and 35). I have these in the white and have been on the look out for black or blush pink on sale, so it's a bit of a shame that I can't fit into 35. Also, a small tip - I found my white pair on sale but in half a size bigger than my usual size (36.5 instead of 36) and barely notice any difference. So this might be a good option if you also can't find one in your usual size. I would not recommend going one whole size up though.

There are lots of beautiful S Max Mara coats included in this sale at 50% off also. I have the Arona coat and Messi coat, both in camel (which I have to admit somewhat regret, probably should have waited til another colour was on sale). The coats can feel like an expensive buy, because let's face it - every autumn/winter the stores are full of camel coats everywhere. I have a camel coat from Zara that was under AUD $200 and it is beautiful quality. So I do admit that S Max Mara coats are a lux buy but are worth the investment for me. They are classic styles (hence getting mine in camel colour) that you can wear year in year out, the wrap coat style is also versatile and can be dressed up or down. The material is a soft lightweight 100% wool. For our Sydney winters that are fairly mild, I wear these coats over a jumper or long sleeve dress and am ready to leave the house. For colder days I add a scarf for additional warmth. The Arona and Messi coat styles are somewhat shorter in length than other S Max Mara styles and are 3/4 length sleeves which is perfect for my petite size! No alterations needed.

The Arona coat is very classic in style while the Messi coat has a slightly wider lapel and more 'glam' to me - think 1950's Hollywood film star. You can compare the difference in the lapel width in the photo above (Arona) and photo below (Messi).

I also tried the Messi coat in navy in store last year and loved it, and only got the camel at the time because it was on sale.

The S Max Mara sizing can be a bit confusing. I am normally an AUS size 6 (XS) and took an Italian size 36, which is equal to French 34 or UK 4.

Matches Fashion have just added an extra 15% off discount on their sale items. This makes such a great bargain if you are able to find a style you like in your size. Use code: EXTRA15 at checkout, with minimum spend of AUD $350 (or USD $250). I have shopped a number of times from Matches Fashion and have always had a great experience with the delivery and hassle free returns if the product didn't suit.
Here are some of my favourite shoe picks for this sale, which includes plenty of Jimmy Choo. I also searched for Salvatore Ferragamo, Valentino, Gianvito Rossi and Veja but only came across a small selection that I liked. Included in this sale are a pair of gorgeous navy green velvet Jimmy Choo Bing 100 and a pair of Bing black suede flats but in a very small size 34, luck for those of you who might have small feet. I have the Bing100 in the white patent and love them. The white patent versions are not included in the extra 15% off sale, but I note that they are significantly reduced at AUD $1168 compared to the usual retail price of >$1500!

I also own Veja V-10 in white leather, and find them super comfortable and slightly more padded than the flat Esplar sneakers. There is a pair in a colourful pastel suede included in this sale. (*I just spotted this cute gold Esplar sneakers for AUD $148, under the usual retail price of $176).
The classic Chloe flat sandals are also available in a colourful embroidered version as well as brown leather version, half price from the usual price AUD $670.
