Hi guys! In this post, I am sharing a list of shopping promo and discount codes that I have come across this month. So often, I get promotion emails from various store subscriptions and find it hard to keep track of all the promo codes and when they expire. So, I thought it would be a great idea to list them all in one place that's easy to check. Hope you enjoy!

p.s. I will do my best to keep this list updated and include the date of expiry where it's known but there is a chance codes expire before I can get round to it so please bear with me and feel free to let me know when a code works or has expired. I realise that I have been absent from posting over the past six months and the single reason was that I simply ran out of time to do all the things I needed to and wanted to do. Wedding planning took up an extra chunk of my time, in addition to daily things like working full-time, with occasional weekend work, managing my newly fledged AirBnb and of course, taking care of myself. I have very much enjoyed the wedding planning process and actually somewhat sad that it is now nearing the end - hence my time is now freed up again! So I hope that I will be able to have more spare time to do other things in the latter half of this year, including sharing my wedding planning process.

I recently tried out several formal dresses from ASOS for my bridesmaids that came to under AUD $100 with their discounts. Here are the final four short-listed ones. I was hoping to get the mismatched bridesmaid look and am still feeling rather undecided with pros and cons for each, and ultimately not wanting to regret my choice of being too out there! The dresses I tried on above were my bridesmaid sizes, hence why a few of them look over-baggy. ASOS also has a huge selection of non-bridal non-bridesmaid clothing which is worth checking out with their affordable price range and also petite size range as well, perfect for those of us who can't be bothered to take the hem up.

A quick note about their returns policy which I got caught out on one time. Full priced items can be returned within 30 days but if you purchase anything on sale, then they need to be returned within 14 days of delivery.

The second one is a repeat purchase of a dress I already have but in the black/silver colourway and it is the Juniper sequin mini dress. I love this shimmery little mini dress so much and had been eyeing the lighter colour version for a long time and happy to get an extra 30% off discount off already on sale price. This one is the petite size version, and compared to the regular sizing I can confirm it is a little slimmer and shorter in fit compared to regular sizing, but the regular sizing will also work for petite ladies. I can't wait to wear this for party season!

I have to admit 90% of my shopping lately has been wedding-related. And since it will be winter-time be then, I've been on the search for faux fur shawls/jackets to keep my bridal warm and toasty. The first store that came to mind was Forever New and I went in store to try on basically anything faux fur-ry. And of course as usual I enjoy admiring the stylish outfits in the window displays such as this forest green monotone outfit. A little note about the green pleated skirt though, it looks midi length on the mannequin but I held up in store in front of the mirror and on my petite height 150cm, it is more of an ankle length skirt, but definitely very pretty and worth considering if you're wanting a maxi skirt if you're petite like me. Some items are not included in the 20% off at the moment, but hopefully you can use the referral code above to get 15% off* full priced items.

Their Luminous Silk foundation is probably one of the most popular brands of liquid foundation and I am currently onto my second bottle. I have been wearing shade 3, but could probably go a little darker up to shade 5.

This place is where *everyone* in Sydney who has recently got married seems to have gone to to get their wedding decor. It's a warehouse located in Auburn (fairly close to Homebush DFO). They are open Monday to Saturday and you can also shop online for click & collect or get delivery for around $15. I recently bulk purchased candles, candle holders, vases and floristry tools as we plan to DIY our own wedding flowers. You can also look on Facebook Marketplace where recently wed brides are selling things second hand and sometimes list where it was originally purchased from.

I recently gifted a friend this Red Balloon voucher for Traditional High Tea for two at The Tea Room in QVB, Sydney ($140 for traditional high tea, $160 with sparkling wine; also available for Gunners Barracks with amazing Sydney harbour views). The high tea at these two locations are known not only for their delectable food and wide selection of teas, but the food and tea is served with traditional Royal Albert Old  Country Rose china which adds that little bit of fanciness!

We also recently went to high tea at The Waiting Room, Crown Hotel in Barangaroo. I might write a separate review in another post but here is a quick photo of the cake tier and spoiler alert: everything was tasty!
